Cairo, Egypt

3D artist in
Egypt

I'm George Mounir — a CGI artist and brand designer working out of Cairo, Egypt. I build products, packaging and whole environments from nothing: modelled, textured, lit and rendered until a frame is indistinguishable from a photograph, then set in motion.

The work is made for beauty, fragrance, food and tech brands — here in Egypt, across the Gulf, and in Europe. No studio hire, no location, no reshoot when the artwork changes.

What brands in Egypt commission

3D product animation

Hero films for a launch — the product modelled, textured and lit, then moved with a camera that has a reason to move.

CGI product visualization

Stills that stand in for photography: catalogue frames, key visuals, and every angle a campaign needs, with no shoot day.

Packaging visualization

Artwork wrapped onto real geometry, so the box, bottle or sachet is judged as an object before a single unit is printed.

Brand films & commercials

Concept, storyboard, sequence and final execution — the whole film designed frame by frame rather than assembled after the fact.

AI photoshoots & virtual sets

A location rebuilt as a complete 360° digital environment, with model and product placed naturally inside it.

Visual identity

The look and the language as one system — type, palette and tone of voice, then the campaign that launches them.

Questions

Where in Egypt are you based?
Cairo. Most projects run remotely — briefs, reviews and delivery all happen over email and calls — so where a client sits has never decided whether the work gets made. Meetings in Cairo and Giza can be arranged when a project warrants it.
Do you work with brands outside Egypt?
Yes. Roughly half the work is for clients outside the country — the Gulf and Europe mostly. CGI has no shipping cost and no location shoot, which is exactly why it travels well.
Is CGI cheaper than a photo shoot?
Usually, once a product needs more than one setting. There is no studio hire, no crew day rate, no reshoot when the packaging changes — the model is built once and re-lit, re-staged and re-framed as often as the campaign needs.
What do you need from me to start?
The product — a dieline, a 3D file, or failing that, clear reference photographs and dimensions — plus whatever brand guidelines exist and a sense of the mood. Enough to model accurately and light with intent.
How long does a product animation take?
A single hero product film is typically two to four weeks from brief to final grade: modelling and texturing first, then lookdev and lighting, then animation and render. Larger campaigns scale from there.
