About

George
Mounir

I'm a brand designer, CGI artist and AI specialist based in Cairo, Egypt. I build brands and the images that carry them — the identity, the product modelled and lit from nothing, and the film that launches it. Most of what I make would once have needed a studio, a crew and a shipping crate.

My artistic background shapes every project. I approach each piece with a balance of creativity, technical precision and storytelling — and I work across the whole of it rather than one slice, which is why a project here usually means the logo, the product, the lighting and the final cut, not just the render.

How a project runs

A single hero product film is typically two to four weeks from brief to final grade. Larger campaigns scale from there. Most projects run remotely — briefs, reviews and delivery all happen over email and calls.

  1. 01

    Brief and concept

The product, whatever exists of it — a dieline, a 3D file, or reference photographs and dimensions — plus the brand guidelines and a sense of the mood. Enough to model accurately and light with intent.

  2. 02

    Modelling and texturing

The object built once, properly, then unwrapped and textured. Everything downstream depends on this being right, because a campaign will re-light and re-stage the same model for months.

  3. 03

    Look development

Materials and lighting worked until the frame reads as a photograph rather than a render. On reflective products — gold, glass, foil — this is the majority of the work, not the modelling.

  4. 04

    Animation and direction

Camera moves with a reason to move, and motion refined in the graph editor. Geometry Nodes where the motion is procedural rather than keyframed.

  5. 05

    Grade and delivery

Final render, colour, and the cuts a campaign actually needs — a hero film, the stills, the crops for social.

What it's made with

  • Blender
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Canva
  • AI Generation
  • Adobe Photoshop

Blender for modelling, look development and animation; Illustrator for the identity and packaging artwork; generative AI where a campaign needs a face, a location or a scene that no shoot could reach.

Who it's made for

  • GURU
  • Glamour Jewelry Stores
  • Pattern Clothing
  • Bubble Trouble

6 of the 21 projects here were commissioned. The rest are self-directed — a product or a brand reimagined to work out a technique or make a point. Where a well-known name appears on a piece that was not commissioned, the case study says so.

Working together

Roughly half the work is for clients outside Egypt — the Gulf and Europe mostly. CGI has no shipping cost and no location shoot, which is exactly why it travels well. I work in Arabic and English.
